Fieldsperson

Responsibilities

• Monitor crop growth, health, and yield across allocated grower farms
• Conduct regular farm visits to assess crop condition and identify risks
• Ensure crops meet quality, varietal, and specification standards
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with growers
• Act as the key point of contact between growers and the business
• Coordinate harvesting schedules to meet factory demand
• Liaise with logistics and site teams to ensure efficient product flow
• Monitor yields and volumes against forecast and contracted quantities
• Support compliance with Red Tractor, environmental, and industry standards
• Complete accurate crop records, reports, and traceability documentation
• Provide detailed QC results on day to day samples

Requirements

• Strong understanding of potato growing or arable farming practices
• Full UK driving licence
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom
• Ability to travel regularly to farms

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within agriculture, fresh produce, or the food supply chain
• Previous experience in a field-based agricultural or procurement role
