Field Vice President, Independent Channel

Responsibilities

• Lead a ~500-person geography covering Greater MN, ND, SD, NE, and Western IA, with full accountability for growth across the independent advisor platform.
• Develop and implement advisor recruitment strategies to attract and onboard experienced talent.
• Create strategic business plans and execute growth coaching programs to drive franchise advisor success.
• Monitor territory business results and adjust programs to ensure sustainable growth.
• Act as a resource broker for Franchise Consultants and Advisors, leveraging regional resources in marketing, compliance, and operations.
• Provide leadership and direction to staff while holding independent contractor coaches accountable for execution.
• Serve as the primary face of the channel to build culture and support franchisee retention.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in financial services, including success in advisor recruitment and practice growth.
• Proven ability to lead and influence teams, including those outside of a direct reporting line.
• Experience managing P&L and driving business results.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain within 150 days, Series 7, Series 24, State securities registration (S63/66), State IAR registration (S65/66), and Life & Variable Contracts licenses.

• Master’s degree or equivalent.
• Demonstrated expertise in coaching advisors and driving new client acquisition.
• Strong competencies in relationship building, resilience, and operating in fast-paced environments.
• Proven track record of maintaining high client satisfaction and strict adherence to compliance and risk management standards.
