Field Trial Technician

Responsibilities

• Execute field trials from start to finish, including sowing, plant protection, grading, measurements, sampling, and threshing
• Conduct soil mapping for customers in Kalmar, Blekinge, and Kronoberg counties
• Collaborate with the horticulture manager on various crop types
• Perform field trials both at the Torslunda station and at various farmers' locations

Requirements

• Documented experience in crop production with agricultural crops
• Relevant education in agricultural sciences or equivalent professional experience
• Valid B-class driver's license
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Interest in Swedish crop production

Preferred Qualifications

• BE-class driver's license
• Certification for handling chemical preparations
• Experience or interest in taking on supervisory/leadership responsibilities
