Field Technician - Shop Operations - ILI

Responsibilities

• Prepare, pack, and transport ILI tools and auxiliary equipment to and from project sites
• Calibrate, inspect, and test inspection equipment prior to mobilization
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-run inspections of ILI tools to ensure operational standards
• Coordinate field activities between the PIPECARE team, contractors, and clients
• Launch, track, and receive ILI tools, including cleaning and re-packing equipment post-run
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on ILI tools, AGMs, transmitters, and receivers
• Verify the quality of ILI and AGM data and submit timely field reports
• Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment
• Operate hand/power tools, hoists, forklifts, and cranes safely

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering field
• 3+ years of experience in operation planning
• Proven experience within the Oil and Gas sector
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to travel extensively both within the US and globally
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to work in diverse environments, including outdoor field locations and confined spaces

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct exposure to In-Line Inspection (ILI) technologies and procedures
• Experience working in refinery or plant environments
