Field Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and service poles, solar panels, batteries, and camera systems
• Mount solar panels and external batteries; install and align LPR cameras with PTZ technology
• Perform installations and maintenance on public and private roadways
• Work at heights of up to 30 feet using ladders and bucket trucks
• Use power and hand tools to repair minor breaks in underground irrigation or private wiring
• Drive company vehicles and tow small trailers
• Conduct site surveys and discuss installation options with customers
• Interpret traffic control plans and permit drawings
• Track inventory and submit updates via the Flock Field mobile app

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing
• Experience in construction, electrical, or low-voltage wiring preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools
• Ability to work independently in varying environments
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive vans/trucks and tow trailers (Must be 21+)
• Basic computer and mobile app skills
• Ability to travel up to 50% (1-2 weeks per month)
