Field Technician 1 - HVAC or Power

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures both at the shop and at various customer locations.
• Set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites, either independently or as part of a technical team.
• Ensure all equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for customer deployment in accordance with company standards.
• Manage daily local travel to field sites using a company vehicle.

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• 4-7 years of experience performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics.
• Experience calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift or move objects typically weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card if required by customer needs.
