Field Technical Lead – Data Center Deployments

About the Company

Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Technically lead on-site deployment of GPU-based compute clusters, storage systems, and high-speed networking in data centers
• Support Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and tracking project delivery activities
• Organize and supervise contractors, vendors, and internal technical teams
• Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and operational issues during deployments
• Maintain clear and accurate project documentation, including deployment plans and risk logs
• Ensure transparent communication with all stakeholders and provide regular status updates
• Collaborate closely with engineering, networking, operations, and supply chain teams

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience with data center infrastructure deployments
• Strong understanding of data center operations including racking, cabling, power, and cooling
• Technical knowledge of GPU servers, compute nodes, storage platforms, and high-speed networking
• Experience managing subcontractors or vendors within project delivery frameworks
• Excellent problem-solving skills for time-critical environments
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to produce clear, structured deployment and status reports

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of construction project structures and facility build-out risks
• Knowledge of High Performance Computing (HPC)
• Experience in business processes design or automation tools development
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar industry certifications
