Field Tech/Courier

Responsibilities

• Provide clients with necessary sampling activities, including sample pick-ups and drop-offs
• Prepare bottle orders for direct shipment to clients
• Store all samples in a cooler with ice and deliver to ALS Sample Receiving
• Maintain accurate and completed chain of custody records for all samples in possession
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including fluid checks and cleaning of company vehicles
• Ensure compliance with field service sampling plans, SOPs, and QA manuals
• Communicate client requests or concerns to the Field Services Supervisor or Customer Service

Requirements

• High School education
• 1+ years of experience as a courier, driver, messenger, or in a related position
• Current Driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to operate a company vehicle and navigate the local region using maps
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in science is helpful but not required
