Field Support Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day performance and supervision of Career Advancement Counselors and Job Developers to ensure effective service delivery.
• Conduct on-site and remote supervision to ensure correct application of policies and meeting of performance measures.
• Manage personnel actions including hiring, training, performance appraisals, and corrective action planning.
• Analyze program performance data to identify productivity trends, program strengths, and individual training needs.
• Develop and implement corrective action plans to ensure federal monitoring requirements are met.
• Coordinate with community agencies and employers to resolve communication issues and implement new service initiatives.
• Monitor automated statewide benefit and service payment systems to evaluate operational impacts.
• Maintain professional boundaries and client confidentiality in accordance with agency policies.

Requirements

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to motivate staff and work effectively as part of a team.
• Understanding of workforce development concepts, principles, and strategies.
• Valid driver's license and access to transportation for statewide travel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Welfare, Human Services, or a related field.
• Six years of experience in public assistance or work programs, including three years in a supervisory role.
• Thorough working knowledge of NHEP and DHHS policies and procedures.
• Experience with New Heights, Bridges, and ETS Services.
• Experience in the design, implementation, and oversight of community programs.
