About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform independent repairs, installations, and Field Change Orders for MRI medical technology systems.
  • Conduct cross-system error analysis and troubleshooting considering clinical, technical, and economic factors.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through professional communication and active escalation management.
  • Provide technical training during installations and coordinate small projects such as upgrades or relocations.
  • Resolve IT and network disturbances related to medical systems.
  • Support sales and project management teams with technical expertise and customer maintenance.
  • Maintain full documentation of all activities according to quality standards and report safety-related defects.
  • Act as a medical device consultant in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering or Medical Technology.
  • Proven experience in field service and the medical device industry.
  • Strong IT and network skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
  • Experience working in radiological environments and expertise in radiation protection.
  • High mobility and willingness to travel more than 70%.
  • Availability for 24/7 on-call duty and weekend work.
  • Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong communication, customer management, and teamwork skills.
