Field Specialist A/B Pipeline

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain oil produced water, gas production, and distribution facilities, including midstream pipelines and LACTs
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and direct necessary repairs, modifications, and calibrations
• Troubleshoot equipment and facility problems, performing minor repairs and servicing as needed
• Perform facility and pipeline start-up and shut-down operations
• Maintain PHMSA regulated pipeline compliance items, including cathodic protection surveys and valve inspections
• Respond to alarm callouts during off-shift hours when on-call
• Assist in emergency response and drills for pipelines
• Report volumes and key facility operating parameters to supervision
• Manage the closure of work orders through CMMS/Infor systems

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a history of safe driving practices
• 1 year of demonstrated experience in oil and gas operations
• Ability and willingness to work rotating on-call shifts, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in petroleum, Process Technology, or a related discipline
• Two years of current related experience in oil and gas or petrochemical industries
• Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) programs
• Experience in Pipeline Operations with valid DOT Operator Qualifications
• Familiarity with pneumatic/electronic instrumentation and SCADA systems
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and CMMS software
