Field Services Technician I

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support for end-users, including desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices
• Respond to IT service tickets using documented procedures and maintain accurate documentation in ITSM tools like ServiceNow
• Assist with workstation setups, device imaging, and equipment deployments
• Perform basic AV/VC checks and maintain conference room readiness
• Manage inventory by following proper handling, tagging, and asset tracking protocols
• Escalate unresolved or complex technical issues following defined protocols

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of Windows 10/11 and macOS operating systems
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair for desktops and laptops
• Familiarity with AV/VC systems such as Zoom, Google Meet, or Webex
• Proficiency using ITSM/ticketing platforms
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Enrollment in IT-related coursework or vocational training
• CompTIA A+ or Google IT Support Certificate
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Experience with mobile device management (MDM) tools
