About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite technical support for end-users, including desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices
- Respond to IT service tickets using documented procedures and maintain accurate documentation in ITSM tools like ServiceNow
- Assist with workstation setups, device imaging, and equipment deployment
- Perform regular AV checks and basic troubleshooting for conference room technology (Zoom, Meet, Webex)
- Maintain and reconcile IT equipment inventory, including proper labeling, tagging, and asset tracking
- Escalate complex or unresolved technical issues following defined protocols
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of Windows 10/11 and macOS operating systems
- Understanding of basic networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Proficiency with ITSM/ticketing platforms
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs of IT hardware
- Strong customer service skills and professional communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Enrollment in IT-related coursework or vocational training
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certifications
- ITIL Foundation certification
- Experience with MDM tools such as JAMF or SCCM
- Familiarity with AVIXA CTS or Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) credentials
