Field Services Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical hardware and software support to resolve service requests and second-level incidents.
• Configure, harden, and deploy new hardware including PCs, Macs, printers, audio/visual, and network devices.
• Use management tools such as SCCM, JAMF, and WSUS to manage software deployment and patch updates.
• Troubleshoot issues to root cause by analyzing software application and event logs.
• Maintain IS asset management systems and user documentation.
• Provide audio/visual and video conferencing support for business presentations.
• Support wireless devices including phones, tablets, handhelds, and safety equipment.

Requirements

• Associate degree in computer science or 3 years of experience in client services technology or a related discipline.
• Technical knowledge of network, PC, printer, and mobile hardware.
• Working knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and standards.
• Ability to use hand tools and read technical manuals, schematic diagrams, and OEM guides.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certifications.
• Experience working in a public-facing or retail-oriented environment.
