Field Services Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Arrange the movement of parcels by air and ground, encompassing international import and export operations.
• Supervise day-to-day airport ramp operations, including loading and unloading cargo aircraft.
• Oversee warehouse sort operations for international import and export shipments.
• Manage a unionized workforce of 8-12 staff, including hiring, coaching, training, and performance management.
• Monitor flights and communicate network updates to ensure contingencies are deployed when necessary.
• Collaborate with US Customs and the DHL Imports clearance department to ensure correct shipment processing.
• Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), cost levels, and assist in annual budget preparation.
• Implement and maintain quality systems and recommend process improvements to enhance productivity.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree in a related field.
• 2 years of related experience in logistics or operations.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs occasionally and 40 lbs frequently.
• Physical ability to walk, climb stairs, reach overhead, squat, bend, kneel, stoop, and crouch repeatedly.
• Must be at least 18 years old and pass pre-employment background, drug, and medical physical screenings.
