Field Services Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate field support groups in the installation, start-up, and commissioning of power distribution equipment
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to address quality/warranty concerns and implement engineering change requests
• Interpret complex electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and power studies to ensure precise configuration
• Oversee the use of specialized electrical test equipment to diagnose, program, and repair electro-mechanical assemblies
• Establish rigorous tracking for all material entering and leaving warehouse locations and manage cycle counts
• Maintain a coordinated calendar for all logistic activities to and from the field
• Enforce company and site-specific safety regulations and ensure a safe work environment
• Complete detailed field technical reports, safety documents, and quality findings within the Maintenance Management System

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in construction support operations or electrical/mechanical field services
• Deep knowledge of power distribution equipment
• Ability to travel 80% of the time, including overnight stays
• 2-year Technical Degree or Associate degree preferred
• Expert ability to read and interpret technical drawings, service manuals, and Bills of Material
• Proficient in MS Office and mobile data entry
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing field fleets and heavy equipment logistics
• Familiarity with power distribution brands such as Schneider, ABB, or Eaton
• Prior experience in the data center, renewable energy, or oil and gas sectors
