Field Services Engineer - Audio Safety Schiphol

Responsibilities

• Commission audio and evacuation systems within the live Schiphol Airport environment
• Resolve complex technical malfunctions and perform functional testing
• Execute software updates and implement technical changes in critical infrastructures
• Ensure systems respond correctly in real-world emergency situations
• Perform maintenance and validation of PA/VA and critical audio infrastructures
• Document all work, testing, and reporting in accordance with safety guidelines
• Participate in standby shifts to ensure 24/7 operational reliability

Requirements

• MBO level of professional and intellectual ability
• Strong technical affinity with audio, safety, or security systems
• Ability to maintain calm and provide oversight under high-pressure conditions
• Fluency in the Dutch language (C2 level) is mandatory
• Willingness to participate in standby shifts
• Independent and accurate working style

Preferred Qualifications

• VCA certification
• Knowledge of ICT and basic networking
• NEN3140 certification
• Experience with IP camera or intercom systems
• Knowledge of Commend systems
