Field Service Wind Technician I

Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance of equipment including fueling and lubrication
• Operate motor vehicles safely and legally per company requirements
• Complete and maintain company and client documentation using computer-based tools
• Clean and organize tools, equipment, and work areas
• Perform daily work requirements as directed by supervisor

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited trade school or relevant mechanical/electrical experience
• Ability to work within confined spaces such as wind turbine nacelles
• Knowledge of various hand and power tools
• Proficiency in English for reading, writing, and technical communication
• Ability to climb wind turbines vertically at least 300 feet
• Ability to maintain weight between 120 and 280 pounds for OSHA compliance
• Ability to lift and move equipment exceeding 50 pounds
• Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions
