Field Service Technician/Engineer

Responsibilities

• Install and start up CNC machines, lasers, and automation systems at customer sites
• Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and control issues
• Work with PLCs, servo systems, I/O, and industrial networking
• Read schematics and troubleshoot down to root cause
• Train operators and maintenance teams when needed
• Document work and communicate with customers and internal teams
• Handle complex troubleshooting and act as an escalation point for senior roles

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of field service or industrial equipment experience (Level II)
• 8+ years of experience (Senior)
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with CNC machines, PLCs, and automation systems
• Ability to read schematics and work independently
• Willingness to travel 100% across the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and work safely around industrial equipment
• Possession of required personal tools and PPE

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs
• Experience with welding equipment or processes
• Experience with laser cutting systems
• Experience with robotics or automated manufacturing systems
