Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and diesel equipment and systems in the field
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on customer and company-owned equipment
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment by following all company and customer safety policies
• Manage and maintain parts inventory as needed
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding equipment status, repairs, and recommendations
• Protect and properly maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment
• Travel to various customer locations to perform service and support activities

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven customer service experience
• Clean driving record
• Ability to obtain a Class A or Class B CDL with applicable endorsements
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and smart devices
• Ability to obtain customer-required clearances (e.g., TWIC, DISA)

Preferred Qualifications

• 0–2 years of technical field service or maintenance experience
• Previous experience with mechanical, electrical, diesel, or industrial equipment
