Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and remedial (break-fix) service on Small to Medium UPS, Power Distribution Units, and Battery system products.
• Provide on-site and phone assistance to customers within the Edge market segment, including retail, financial, and municipal clients.
• Implement Field Change Notices and adhere to all company safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
• Complete administrative tasks including time cards, expense reports, service reports, and inventory cycle counts.
• Maintain company property, including vehicles, test equipment, and laptops, in accordance with company policy.
• Strive to provide "first time fix" solutions to maximize customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High School or Vocational School Diploma.
• 2-4 years of military technical experience or 0-2 years of relevant industry experience.
• Familiarity with electrical and electronic test equipment and fundamentals.
• Ability to follow written technical documentation, procedures, and product manuals.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various physical positions (stooping, kneeling, crawling).
• Ability to pass a drug test, background check, and motor vehicle records check.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASEET or AMEET certification (or progress towards these certifications).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and associated technical software.
