Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, scheduled maintenance, and emergency service on UPS, Power Distribution Units, and battery system products.
• Provide on-site and phone technical assistance to customers to ensure high satisfaction and "first time fix" rates.
• Execute technical tasks following written documentation, product manuals, and company safety guidelines.
• Manage administrative duties including timecards, expense reports, service reports, and inventory cycle counts.
• Maintain company property, including vehicles, test equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including the "14 hours rule" and site-specific customer safety requirements.

Requirements

• 4+ years of military technical experience or 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Familiarity with electrical and electronic test equipment and fundamentals.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks such as kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required.
• Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to pass a drug test, background check, and motor vehicle records check.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASEET or AMEET certification (or progress towards certification).
