Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and remedial (break-fix) service on Small to Medium UPS, Power Distribution Units, and Battery system products.
• Provide on-site and phone assistance to customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and "first time fix" rates.
• Execute technical tasks including site evaluations, repairs, and implementing Field Change Notices.
• Maintain accurate administrative documentation, including service reports, time cards, and expense reports.
• Manage individual inventory and perform regular cycle counts.
• Operate company vehicles and equipment in strict accordance with safety guidelines and local laws.

Requirements

• High School or Vocational School Diploma.
• 2-4 years of military technical experience or 0-2 years of relevant industry experience.
• Familiarity with electrical and electronic test equipment and fundamentals.
• Ability to follow written technical documentation and product manuals.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASEET or AMEET certification (or progress towards certification).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and associated technical software.
