Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, scheduled maintenance, and emergency service on UPS, Power Distribution Units, and battery system products.
• Provide on-site and phone technical assistance to customers to ensure high satisfaction and "first time fix" rates.
• Operate safely in accordance with company guidelines, including the use of appropriate PPE and adherence to the "14 hours rule."
• Complete administrative tasks including timecards, expense reports, service reports, and inventory cycle counts.
• Maintain company property, including vehicles, test equipment, and laptops.
• Communicate technical or procedural issues effectively with Technical Support and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• 4+ years of military technical experience or 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and associated computer applications.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to pass a drug test, background check, and motor vehicle records check.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASEET or AMEET certification (or progress towards certification).
• Familiarity with electrical and electronic test equipment.
