Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Execute projects and activities at site, including maintaining electrical equipment
• Provide technical expertise within the Grid Technology Service team
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and operate advanced test equipment
• Manage advanced protective relays and low voltage drive portfolios
• Develop process flow charts, testing plans, and inspection procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments and customers to drive long-term relationships

Requirements

• Electrical Engineering Technologist or equivalent qualification
• 4-6 years of experience in the electrical field (low, medium, and high voltage)
• Basic PLC Automation experience, preferably with Siemens products
• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives
• Possession of a valid, unrestricted driver's license
• Willingness to travel across Québec and Canada as required
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
