Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair solar and battery storage systems, including electrical and mechanical components
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of solar panels, inverters, and battery storage units
- Operate specialized tools and equipment for solar and battery system installations and repairs
- Manage field-based projects and oversee contractors and third-party work
- Create and implement standard work instructions (SWIs) for field service tasks
- Complete daily task lists and respond to field service work requests
- Address general electro-mechanical issues related to solar and battery systems
- Work cross-functionally with operations teams to support growth and continuous improvement goals
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in electro-mechanical troubleshooting and repair
- Strong background in electrical systems and mechanical maintenance
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently to field locations
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., bend, lift, and walk up and down stairs
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to varying weather and temperature extremes
- Availability to work weekends, nights, or on-call as needed
