Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Interact and operate a state of the art multi robotic welding system
• Load, monitor, and inspect welded assemblies
• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on automation equipment and cells
• Read engineering drawings, assembly diagrams, electrical schematics, and blueprints
• Service and maintain pneumatic systems, welding equipment, robotics, and electrical automation devices
• Integrate autonomous welding cells into customer manufacturing processes
• Interface with customers to ensure equipment efficiency
• Coordinate with engineering resources to troubleshoot issues
• Inspect, clean, and replace electrical and mechanical components

Requirements

• Technical training, Trade School certification, Associate degree in Engineering Tech, or BS Engineering
• Hands-on experience in design, assembly, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems
• Experience within fabrication or a machine shop
• Some welding experience
• Comfort with learning programming languages
• Detail oriented with experience working with small and fragile components
