Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair commercial and industrial floor cleaning equipment at the branch shop or customer sites
• Assess and respond to technical/mechanical equipment failures using standard procedures
• Complete all required service reporting, including time sheets and maintenance documentation via field service software
• Maintain up-to-date training and certifications required for the position
• Manage and maintain spare parts stock levels within the service van

Requirements

• Associates degree or equivalent from a technical school, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3 years of experience in a similar or related field
• Demonstrated mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
• Strong understanding of internal combustion engines and AC/DC electrical theory
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
• Valid Driver's License and DOT Certification
• Proficiency in MS Office and business applications
