Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain oxygen and nitrogen production plants at customer sites safely and efficiently
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance, calibrations, and equipment servicing
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve plant operational and process issues
• Manage site operations independently to meet production targets and contract requirements
• Plan and coordinate maintenance outages, turnarounds, and compliance audits
• Read and interpret P&IDs and electrical schematic diagrams
• Manage plant maintenance budgets and perform monthly customer billing tasks
• Drive a service truck for daily travel and assist in training new employees

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of instrumentation, including measuring and controlling process variables
• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift up to 75 lbs
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation, including weekdays and weekends
• Ability to travel occasionally, including overnight, for support and training

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field
• Experience with air separation plants, compressors, pumps, motors, or valves
• Experience in manufacturing operations
