Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain bulk gas supply systems, small on-site plants, and food freezing equipment
• Utilize pipe and gas fitting knowledge to install, modify, and maintain gas systems safely
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings to plan and execute work accurately
• Perform welding and brazing tasks to support system installation and repair
• Troubleshoot electronic and computer-operated controls and instrumentation
• Manage on-site contractors and coordinate project objectives to ensure timely and on-budget completion
• Support related sales activities through technical expertise

Requirements

• Post-secondary education (C.E.T.) or Journeyman status in Electrical, Instrumentation, Refrigeration, Welding, or a related trade
• 3-5 years of experience working with atmospheric or cryogenic gases and related equipment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform work in predominantly outdoor environments
• Availability for after-hours service calls and overtime as required
• Ability to work independently and service a territory with minimal supervision
