About the role

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer locations in the New Orleans, Metairie, Slidell, and surrounding metro areas to perform maintenance and repairs.
  • Conduct technical diagnosis and specialized repairs on a variety of electronics, major appliances, TVs, and A/C units.
  • Assess product issues, document findings, and make informed decisions regarding repairs or part replacements.
  • Manage inventory and accurately process paperwork and data entry upon completion of each service call.
  • Pre-screen upcoming service calls to obtain necessary diagnostic information prior to arrival.
  • Utilize all provided safety equipment (PPE), vehicles, and diagnostic tools according to company standards.
  • Meet or exceed key performance metrics including customer satisfaction, first-time fix rates, and parts management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a technical role, preferably in field service.
  • Proven experience repairing major appliances (refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, or cleaning products).
  • Proficiency with various tools and diagnostic test equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and document complex product or system issues.
  • Valid Driver’s license in good standing.
  • Ability to obtain appropriate EPA Certification.
  • Physical ability to perform field service tasks, including continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.
