Field Service Technician II

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation of Point of Access (POA) equipment and communication devices.
• Conduct pre-installation site assessments to identify wiring and parts requirements.
• Execute hardware and software conversions, upgrades, and preventive maintenance on gaming devices.
• Install system-to-system, game-to-system, and game-to-game interfaces using telephone, ethernet, and wireless connections.
• Respond to customer issues regarding games and system interfaces to ensure minimal downtime.
• Provide accurate and timely activity tracking and reporting using SAP and other software tools.
• Maintain positive client relationships while representing IGT at customer sites.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing electronics, electro-mechanical, telecom, or computer equipment.
• Strong knowledge of AC/DC fundamentals.
• Ability to read and translate complex wiring diagrams.
• Experience troubleshooting to the component or circuit level.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and stand for an eight-hour shift.
• Availability to work overtime and on weekends as required.
• Ability to obtain a Gaming License and pass a security background investigation.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
