About the role
Responsibilities
- Independently manage onsite IT support at single-person or lead-assigned locations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for end-user technical needs, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
- Own the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of AV/conference room systems (Zoom, Meet, Webex)
- Execute full hardware lifecycle support, including imaging, deployment, recovery, and e-waste processes
- Manage and reconcile site inventory and asset tracking to ensure accurate records
- Prioritize and resolve support tickets within SLA targets using ITSM tools like ServiceNow
- Provide informal mentorship to junior technicians and coordinate with remote teams or vendors
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proven experience working independently, specifically at single-technician sites
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and networking connectivity
- Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and macOS environments
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (monitors, CPUs, and other IT hardware)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certifications
- ITIL Foundation certification
- Experience with MDM tools (JAMF, Apple Certified Support Professional)
- AVIXA CTS certification
