Field Service Technician II

Responsibilities

• Independently manage onsite IT support at single-person or lead-assigned locations
• Serve as the primary point of contact for end-user technical needs, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
• Own the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of AV/conference room systems (Zoom, Meet, Webex)
• Execute full hardware lifecycle support, including imaging, deployment, recovery, and e-waste processes
• Manage and reconcile site inventory and asset tracking to ensure accurate records
• Prioritize and resolve support tickets within SLA targets using ITSM tools like ServiceNow
• Provide informal mentorship to junior technicians and coordinate with remote teams or vendors

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Proven experience working independently, specifically at single-technician sites
• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and networking connectivity
• Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and macOS environments
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (monitors, CPUs, and other IT hardware)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• CompTIA A+ or Network+ certifications
• ITIL Foundation certification
• Experience with MDM tools (JAMF, Apple Certified Support Professional)
• AVIXA CTS certification
