Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on field service work including installation of components and subassemblies
• Conduct basic commissioning of switchboards, control panels, and power products
• Install and modify electrical or mechanical components such as circuit breakers, bus bars, and switchgear
• Perform basic testing of modified assemblies including visual and ductor tests
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits and networking equipment
• Coordinate with Technical Project Managers and manufacturing facilities to resolve field issues
• Perform preventive maintenance and technical product support
• Attend project meetings and coordinate with contractors and clients

Requirements

• Technical degree or equivalent
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, data center, or field service roles (for Level 3)
• Ability to travel up to 75%
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Commissioning of LV/MV electrical switchgear (required for Level 3)
• Experience with switchgear and electrical control systems (required for Level 3)
• Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams (required for Level 3)
• Military experience
