Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on field service work including installation of components and subassemblies
• Conduct basic commissioning of switchboards, control panels, and power products
• Install and modify electrical or mechanical components such as panelboard interiors, circuit breakers, and bus bars
• Perform basic testing of modified assemblies including visual and ductor testing
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits and networking equipment
• Coordinate with Technical Project Managers to resolve product or commissioning issues
• Perform preventive maintenance and field installations on existing equipment

Requirements

• Technical degree or equivalent
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, data centers, or field service
• Ability to travel up to 75%
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Commissioning of LV/MV electrical switchgear (Required for Level 3)
• Experience with switchgear and electrical control systems (Required for Level 3)
• Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams (Required for Level 3)
• Military experience
