Field Service Technician, IC

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative maintenance and repair services for infection control equipment, including sterilizers and washers, at customer establishments.
• Assist with installation projects within the region in collaboration with the Lead Technician.
• Maintain service contracts by identifying potential customers, providing quotations, and ensuring timely closing of proposals.
• Comply with all health and safety codes, company policies, and regulatory agency requirements.
• Establish and maintain positive, cooperative working relationships with customers and Getinge personnel.
• Document all service activities and maintain required inventory and company assets in good working order.
• Provide on-call availability to customers as required.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant business experience, specifically within a high-volume field service environment.
• Strong technical and troubleshooting skills involving mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic equipment.
• Ability to travel internationally (valid passport required).
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive a company vehicle.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
