Field Service Technician I

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain detection and screening equipment in the field
• Meet daily service repair needs to drive customer satisfaction
• Provide customer training and technical support as required
• Document all inspections, maintenance, and repair work in a timely manner
• Manage repair parts cycle time, including ordering and installing parts
• Maintain and calibrate tools and test equipment
• Assess equipment performance and recommend technical improvements
• Comply with all company health, safety, environmental, and export control regulations

Requirements

• Associate's Degree, Trade Certification (electrical, electronic, or mechanical), or equivalent military training
• 1-3 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical or electronic systems
• Computer literacy, specifically competency in the MS Office Suite
• Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs and push/pull up to 200 lbs
• Ability to travel at short notice and work overtime or non-standard hours as required
• Ability to pass a successful federal background investigation and TSA vetting
