Field Service Technician I

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, disinfection, and preventative maintenance on Baxter and non-Baxter medical products.
• Conduct operational function checks and troubleshoot/evaluate necessary repairs to ensure product readiness.
• Move, load, and unload medical equipment within service centers, healthcare facilities, and private homes.
• Provide on-call coverage on a 24/7 basis, including weekends and holidays, for customer account visits.
• Demonstrate proper product usage to hospital staff, caregivers, and other participants.
• Safely operate company vehicles ranging from cargo vans to 26,000-pound trucks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment using 5S activities and proper PPE.
• Utilize electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets, or PCs to manage information.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT physical card.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 65 pounds using proper safety and ergonomic procedures.
