Field Service Technician I

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, disinfection, and operational function checks on rental and customer-owned medical products
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Use appropriate tools to make required adjustments and repairs to malfunctioning components
• Provide 24/7 on-call coverage, including weekends and holidays, for product delivery and service support
• Safely operate fleet vehicles ranging from cargo vans to 26,000-pound box trucks
• Load, unload, and remove medical products weighing up to 1680 pounds
• Generate service revenue and complete activities required under service contracts

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Ability to provide 24/7 on-call coverage
• Ability to lift and move heavy medical equipment up to 1680 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical or Trade School training
• Experience with FDA-regulated products
• Previous experience in customer service
• Possession of a DOT physical card
