About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite and remote technical support for end users, including desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices
- Troubleshoot and resolve common hardware and software issues
- Respond to IT service tickets using documented procedures and maintain accurate documentation in ITSM tools like ServiceNow
- Assist with workstation setups, device imaging, deployments, and equipment recovery
- Perform regular checks and basic troubleshooting of AV/VC equipment (displays, microphones, cameras) to ensure conference room readiness
- Maintain and reconcile inventory of IT equipment, including accurate labeling, tagging, and asset tracking
- Deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service experience with professionalism and courtesy
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of Windows 10/11 and macOS
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Experience or familiarity with mobile device support (iOS, Android)
- Familiarity with AV/VC systems such as Zoom, Google Meet, or Webex
- Proficiency with ITSM/ticketing platforms
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and reaching
Preferred Qualifications
- Enrollment in IT-related coursework or vocational training
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certifications
- ITIL Foundation certification
- Experience with device imaging tools like SCCM, JAMF, or MDT
- Knowledge of basic networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP)
