Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout the assigned territory to visit regular and prospective customers for tool repair, calibration, and technical consultation.
• Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, and manual tools, pumps, and equipment.
• Manage customer relationships and initiate contact with new prospects to grow the business.
• Perform scheduled repairs and calibrations within the service area of the company vehicle.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for parts and equipment, including conducting quarterly inventories.
• Provide training to customers on proper tool operation and maintenance.
• Complete all necessary paperwork for repairs, calibrations, and weekly activity reporting.
• Ensure the service vehicle is maintained according to safety standards.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of hands-on mechanical or technical experience.
• Clean and valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift or move up to 75 pounds.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to provide a safe space near your home to park the service van overnight.
