Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electromechanical subsystems of the KARNO Power Module
• Support factory testing, inspections, and quality verification activities
• Travel to customer sites to support mechanical and electrical installation
• Perform system commissioning, startup, and acceptance testing
• Conduct preventive, corrective, and troubleshooting maintenance
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues using test equipment
• Document service activities and prepare detailed service reports
• Maintain service tools, vehicles, and spare parts inventory

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in field service, mechanical assembly, or industrial equipment repair
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with hand tools, torque tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electrical systems
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel extensively (50–75%)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical training, vocational education, or military experience
• Experience with power generation equipment, generators, or energy systems
• Field commissioning or startup experience for industrial equipment
