Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, service, and maintenance for parking and access control hardware and software
• Provide technical support for multiple products to clients and other field technicians
• Assist in the installation of Parking and Revenue Control systems, including equipment mounting, wiring, and configuration
• Manage varied travel obligations and participate in a compensated on-call rotation for nights and weekends

Requirements

• Electronics technical school training or equivalent
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and ability to lift over 50lbs repeatedly
• Experience with SQL Server database maintenance and Microsoft Operating Systems
• Ability to work with proprietary software, hardware communications, and programming
• Clean driving record and ability to complete OSHA safety courses
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of MS Windows software and operating systems
• Experience with network and communication systems
• MS Network and/or CompTIA A+ Certifications
