Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance, installation, and technical support for Sullair rotary products and accessories at customer field locations.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and conduct or schedule necessary repairs for Sullair and competitive rotary products.
• Prepare detailed service reports to document visits, troubleshooting actions, and maintenance activities.
• Travel to various field jobsites and perform on-call after-hours customer support as scheduled.
• Communicate distributor feedback to management to serve as the "Voice of the Customer."
• Follow all Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures while operating company vehicles safely.
• Support the Sullair Training Department for customers, distributors, and employees.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (related industry experience may be considered in lieu of education).
• 2-3 years of experience in air compressor commissioning and maintenance.
• Valid driver's license held for a minimum of 12 months with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read and understand technical schematics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis and work in industrial environments with extreme temperatures.
• Must possess your own tools to perform job duties.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or Technical Trade School certification.
• Experience with rotary screw Oil Free Compressors.
• Refrigeration or EPA certification.
• Experience with industrial product manufacturing and processes.
