Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting, repair, and technical support for complex mechanical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled service activities following manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Support sales initiatives through product demonstrations, customer meetings, and identifying new service opportunities.
• Maintain accurate service reports, documentation, and inventory records within established deadlines.
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
• Serve as a technical mentor and field training resource for other maintenance technicians.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a technical discipline (Electronics, Electro-Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering, etc.) or equivalent military training.
• 3+ years of experience in field service, technical maintenance, or a related technical support role.
• Ability to interpret schematics, system diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various physical conditions, including confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within the medical device, healthcare, or life sciences industries.
