Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative maintenance and repair services for infection control equipment, including sterilizers and washers, at customer establishments.
• Assist with installation projects within the region in collaboration with the Lead Technician.
• Maintain service contracts by identifying potential customers, providing quotations, and ensuring timely renewals.
• Comply with all health and safety codes, company policies, and regulatory agency requirements.
• Document all service activities and maintain accurate records in accordance with company procedures.
• Manage expenses, inventory, and company assets, including loaner equipment and spare parts.
• Establish and maintain positive, cooperative working relationships with customers and internal team members.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant field service experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills involving mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic equipment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel internationally (valid passport required).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingualism in French and English is considered a significant asset.
• Experience working within the healthcare or life sciences industry.
