About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and perform the installation and commissioning of new separators and decanters.
  • Provide technical and maintenance support for GEA separator and decanter systems.
  • Travel to customer sites to perform routine maintenance, emergency service, and warranty work.
  • Train customers and employees on optimal equipment usage and general maintenance practices.
  • Test systems and components using electrical, mechanical, digital, and pneumatic controls.
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance in compliance with legal and corporate requirements.
  • Collect and classify data using various measuring instruments to support equipment monitoring.
  • Provide feedback to internal departments to assist in the development and improvement of products.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Professional or Collegian Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Heavy Duty Mechanic, Millwright, or an equivalent field.
  • Ability to travel at least 75% of the time within Quebec and other Canadian provinces.
  • Must possess a valid passport and be eligible to work in Canada and the USA.
  • Ability to accommodate a flexible working schedule and travel internationally if required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Centrifuge and Decanter systems.
  • Experience with PLC (Allen Bradley preferred), programming, or control panels.
  • Background in process and electrical systems.
