Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain humanoid robots and necessary site infrastructure at commercial or residential locations
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and software-based issues
• Work closely with engineering, build, validation, and fabrication teams to resolve technical issues quickly
• Verify use-case stability on-site and provide actionable feedback to development teams to drive product improvements
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance and repairs
• Develop tools and document diagnostic procedures for process improvement

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with complex systems
• Proficiency with computer-based tools including CMD prompt and Google Suite
• Experience with electrical hardware diagnostic tools such as Scopes, Digital Multimeters, and Current Probes
• Ability to read PCB and harness schematics
• Familiarity with torque tools and mechanical assembly
• Ability to remove and replace mechanical components weighing up to 50lbs
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in robotics or with small brushless motors
• Knowledge of harmonic drives, clutches, or torque/force sensors
• Experience with Catia, CAD-based programs, or PCB rework
• Experience with DAQ system implementation or fabrication
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Slack
• Knowledge of IPC 610, 620, or J-Std-001 standards
