Responsibilities

  • Champion a "Safety First" culture by modeling safe practices and ensuring site safety compliance
  • Provide technical support via phone, email, and on-site visits for troubleshooting assistance
  • Perform field service including warranty work, commissioning, acceptance testing, and functional tests
  • Execute functional testing and final QC inspection of completed controllers and custom-built controls
  • Support new product research and development through functional analysis and reliability testing
  • Deliver in-person technical training for groups of 5–20 personnel
  • Travel extensively (75–90%) including weekends, holidays, and extended trips up to 3 weeks

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology preferred
  • 4–5 years of experience in electrical equipment manufacturing, electromechanical assembly, and testing
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Experience with 12 VDC to 125 VDC and 120 VAC to 38kVAC systems
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting relay logic, PLC-based circuits, VFDs, and switchboard equipment
  • Proficiency with PLC and HMI software for Allen Bradley, Siemens, ABB, and GE
  • Familiarity with NFPA, UL, IEEE, and NEC standards
  • Clean driving record and eligibility for government clearance
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in active manufacturing/field environments
