About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and repairs for mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems at customer sites.
- Perform monitoring, testing, and demonstrations to minimize equipment downtime and promote product capabilities.
- Maintain an accurate personal tool inventory and adhere to company calibration protocols.
- Complete daily work assignments and communicate service activities to customers and managers via reports and email.
- Adhere to all company safety and environmental requirements, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- (Level 2/3) Evaluate warranty claims, rebuild components to OEM specifications, and serve as a subject matter expert for other technicians.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read basic hydraulic and 24-volt schematics.
- Basic computer skills and a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Possession of own hand tools (with the ability to expand inventory as required).
- Ability to travel to customer sites in the Silver Valley, Idaho area.
- Willingness to work 40-60 hours per week with varying shifts to meet customer needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate of Completion from a Technical or Trade School.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience (Level 2) or 5+ years of relevant experience (Level 3).
- Expertise in Rig Control Systems (RCS).
- Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) if required for operating heavy vehicles.
